So it’s New Year’s Eve, a night when you shouldn’t really be watching TV and should be going out and drinking and stuff. But that’s expensive and tiring so get this lot recorded.
- 1155 C4 – Here’s how you start the day, with a pure slice of eighties gold. A bit pants, but still eighties gold.
- 1335 BBC1 – Cards on the table, I’ve not seen this. But, come on, it’s got Evel Knievel and Gene Kelly in it, it’s bound to be awesome
- 1430 5star – Alright, you haven’t got the first one but a Karate Kid Double Bill is hard to turn down. Right?
- 1645 – Here’s a proper, man’s war film for you with some army men going out and killing some Nazis. Awesome stuff
- 2100 BBC2 – A great drama based on the lives of two of the greatest comedians to come out of the UK, well worth a watch
- 2200 ITV4 – If you didn’t fancy the double bill from earlier, how about two Mad Max films? Altogether now: WE DON’T NEED ANOTHER HEEEEERO!
- 0110 C4 – However, if you want another way to start the year, how about a stone cold fifties scientific classic? There is no better way
- 0105 ITV1 – So you’ve seen in the New Year, what better way to start it than this celebration of music and the comedy skills of Aykroyd and Belushi? There is no better way
