Here we go! It’s Christmas Day…when you’ll all be too busy opening present to watch TV but no matter! You can watch everything another day so get recording!
E4 – Now, this is a bit of a punt here. From the title here it could be a great Studio Ghibli film called Tales of Earthsea. Or it might be something else. It’s Christmas, take a gamble!
Channel 4 – Seriously, it’s Christmas Day and it’s The Muppets. What more do I need to say?
ITV1 – Alright, the film jumps through one too many hoops in order to explain just exactly how Santa got his Santa-ness but it’s still fun. And come one, if you can’t watch Santa Claus The Movie on Christmas Day then when can you watch it?
BBC2 – There’s nothing like a good musical and if we’re talking about good musicals then you have to talk about Singing In The Rain. They really don’t make them like this anymore.
Channel 4 – The Muppets very nearly got there with the best version of A Christmas Carol but Bill Murray beat them to the punch several years earlier. Cynical and heart warming at the same time, it’s an absolute Christmas treat.
BBC1 – This is what Christmas is all about. I can’t remember any more what Christmas was like before we had the Christmas Who specials. The naysays and moaners can go away because this is perfect family television.
ITV4 – Say hello to my little friend! Part One of a Brian De Palma double bill, this i probably his best film with one of the most eighties of the eighties soundtracks. Also, if you missed it earlier in the week you could have a double bill with Tango & Cash on at 9pm on this channel.
Film 4 – Now THIS is how you make a parody film. Everyone behind things like Epic Movie and the like should be sat down to watch this film to find out how to make a great comedy. A brilliant, brilliant film and probably Gene Hackman’ best.
Channel 4 – Alright, it’s not the most Christmassey of films but it’s still a top drawer horror film and also Part 2 of the De Palma double bill
ITV1 – Quite why it’s on this late I have no idea, but if you want to see the second best Police Academy film then get this recorded. Oh, Steve Guttenberg, why did you leave us.
DIE HARD 9PM FILM FOUR. HOW I REPEAT HOW WAS THIS MISSED. CAPS LOCK ON COS I’M SHOUTING

Because it was on earlier in the week and I didn’t want to do repeats ;D
Frankly, you should always have a permanent season record on for Die Hard just to be on the safe side.
