Last day. One final bank holiday then it’s all back to normal. I hope you’ve enjoyed this guide which won’t be back until next year as scanning the Radio Times takes way longer than you think it would. Thanks for reading and keep an eye on the
Bad Education twitter page for future random updates!
Film4 – A delightful Studio Ghibli film that is on, for one this festive season, at a decent time of the day.
Channel 4 – Here it is, a perfect storm of 80’s goodness; Danson, Guttenberg, Selleck, Nimmoy. There is not a film that says ’80s’ in quite the way this does.
BBC1 – Enjoyed Three Men And A Baby earlier? Then you’re in luck, here’s the sequel! No Nimmoy so the 80s quotient has dropped by at least 25% but it’s still fun. Ish.
Film4 – The last of the proper Original Series Trek films, the whole cast is getting a bit creaky but it’s still a good film. Just try to forget the scene of Uhura dancing in the firelight. Just try.
Five – The film that gave the world Zed, it’s a worthy sequel to the first film and has one of THE great fake moustaches in cinema history. No word of a lie.
BBC3 – A nice little double bill here, with a great little short from the Wall-E dvd and then a look back at the history of Pixar. Lovely.
ITV2 – A great double bill here with two of the best bond films of each respective Bond actor. Brosnan never really did a Bond film better than this one and Craig stamped his mark on the franchise with the film that rebooted Bond for a post-Bourne world. A great way to compare and contrast.
