The Christmas TV Strategy Guide 2017 – 24th December
1030 – BBC1 – Start of your Christmas Eve with a fine Christmas film that does a good job in tempering (most of) Tim Allen’s annoying bits
1100 – Sony Movies – Nice family triple bill here, starting with probably the best Roald Dahl adaptation, a great adventure film then a flawed but interesting take on Peter Pan
1205 – ITV3 – Here’s the good stuff, a really good spoof musical
1245 – More4 – If you watch Romancing The Stone earlier in the week then you may as well watch this, despite returns very much diminishing
1420 – BBC1 – The original Monsters Inc was such a well crafted contained story that a continuation would always be tough hence a prequel which mostly holds together
1720 – Channel 4 – If you want your Christmas Eve to be CHRISTMAS then here’s the good stuff to inject straight into your festive veins
1120 – BBC4 – Fancy a spoooky trip into Christmas Day? Then here you so
0355- Sony Movies – Or, if you really wanted to, you could stay up late and welcome in the new day with this travesty of a film!
