The Christmas TV Strategy Guide 2018 – 25th December
0835 | ITV3 | If you really really wanted to, you could spend the whole of Christmas Day watching Carry On films. Screaming and Khyber are probably the high water marks in the films being shown here
0940 | Movies4Men | A Christmas miracle; it’s on again in case you missed it earlier in the week
1245 | Film4 | As magical as Christmas is, it’s not quite as magical as Totoro
1305 | Five | Just in time for Christmas Lunch, two top drawer musicals back to back. Of course, you have to kind of ignore the kidnapping aspect of the first film
1510 | BBC2 | Okay, so it’s not the Gene Kelly version but the songs in the film are bulletproof so this should still be a treat to watch
1600 | Channel 4 | Perfect for a post Christmas lunch veg out session, two films that contain the pure spirit of Christmas. Well, the first one does, the second is more about a kid smashing seven shades of hell out of two thieves but the point still stands
1820 | Sony Movies | It’s getting towards the tail end of Harryhausen but it’s still an absolute treat
2010 | More4 | Their relationship may not have ended up in the best place, but when Moore and Cook were on fire they were pretty much untouchable. Hopefully some of that magic will be shown here
2115 | BBC4 | Speaking of brilliant comedy partnerships, here’s The Two Ronnies at Christmas!
2320 | ITV4 | Now that we’re done with Christmas, lets get some top drawer serial killing on the TV
0040 | Horror | Serial killers not enough for you? Then here’s some killer ghost pirates out for revenge
0115 | Film4 | That still not enough for you? Then here’s some zombies on a train. If thats still not enough for you, Jesus, I don’t know. Put a DVD on or something
